We are happy to announce that our new AssiAnchor, was granted a CE approval.

AssiAnchor is an ocular implantation device intended to stabilize and center the capsular bag in cases of zonular dehiscence or instability. It is versatile and may be used either during cataract surgery prior to crystalline lens removal, as well as in pseudophakic eyes years after the cataract surgery. The device is successfully implanted worldwide since 2008, with only positive experience described in scientific literature.

The new device is implanted through a micro incision and is designed to be biplanar, in contrast with the previous uniplanar design, for significantly increased simplicity of use, while preserving the same safety and performance profile of the original AssiAnchor.

Clinical evaluation of the new device has demonstrated excellent results.
