The new AssiAnchor
We are happy to introduce the new AssiAnchor, the same well-known, unique and versatile device, now redesigned for micro incision and simplicity of use.
AssiAnchor is an ocular implantation device intended to stabilize and center the capsular bag in cases of zonular dehiscenceor instability. It is versatile and can be used either during cataract surgery prior to crystalline lens removal, as well as in pseudophakic eyes years after the cataract surgery. The device is successfully implanted worldwide since 2008, with only positive experience described in scientific literature.
Following constant advancement of cataract surgery and minimization of incision size, Prof. Assia together with Hanita Lenses R&D team took the challenge to adapt the device to the modern techniques.
The new device is implantable through micro incision and is designed to be biplanar, opposed to previous uniplanar design, for significantly increased simplicity of use, while preserving the same safety and performance profile of the original AssiAnchor. Clinical evaluation of the new device has demonstrated exceptional results.
The new device will soon be available in the market.

Intensity IOL from scratch
Following development period of 3 years we launched the Intensity IOL in 2020.
The IOL has been developed by employing a unique algorithm, the Dynamic Light Utilization technology, for maximal light efficiency that transcends the traditional boundaries of conservative diffractive IOL patterns, bringing unprecedented vivid vision to cataract patients and increases quality of life for them enabling them to perform the full range of day to day activities.
