In Q1 2021, we continued our investment in promoting our newest innovative Penta-Focal IOL – the Intensity.

From marketing perspective, during the period of Covid 19, online webinars, articles and publications became more frequent; in times when we could not meet each other, the online options were and still remain the only global communication option.

Despite the first quarter of 2021 being very much influenced by Covid 19 restrictions, we at Hanita Lenses continued our efforts to expose the markets to our innovative Penta-focal IOL.

In the first quarter, we received requests from leading journals to publish our newest technology.

CRST Europe 2021 1st edition published an article Intensity-Vision Redefined interviewing Prof. Assia on his clinical study results conducted at Meir Medical Center.

Prof. Assia shared his views in regards to patient satisfaction, defocus curve and visual acuity.

Channel 12 news had a great TV report demonstrating a patient’s journey and results after implantation of Intensity IOL, both patient and surgeon were highly satisfied with the fact that all distances were in fully functional and sharp as was expected.

The Israel Innovation Authority has published an article in CTECH Calcalist journal

Advanced Manufacturing, The Cutting Edge: Manufacturing using advanced technologies sharing their insights on our latest Intensity IOL.

A global webinar was conducted for young ophthalmologists, with speakers from 3 IOL premium companies , Dr. JP Rozenbaum from France presented the Intensity IOL and its results in comparison with the competition.

TheMarker Journal has published an article about being glasses free following cataract surgery, interviewing Dr. Eliya Levinger, a senior ophthalmologist at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center- Ichilov Hospital, describing the advantages of Hanita Lenses Intensity IOL and allowing both surgeons and patients to demonstrate confidence in the procedure and predictability of the results.

“The technological innovation allowing us to reduce glasses dependency following cataract surgery is premium lenses developed with advanced Israeli technology along with improvement of measuring methodologies. This combination allows the surgeon to reduce the need of glasses use from far to near distances for the patient”

In times when face-to-face meetings are still a challenge, we manage to bring value to our loyal customers and expand our activity in new markets.
