The Challenge

Since 2012 I devoted my activity exclusively to the marketing of Hanita Lenses products, the reason was mainly due to French market demands and competition.

Our challenge was to get product recognition with the premium implant market and particularly Toric IOL’s. It was not easy as the competition was and still is quite fierce.

French Overview

We introduced the PerfecTor Easy with the strategy of allowing surgeons to address astigmatism without overcharging the patients, this product allowed us to stand out from the crowd of our competitors. Our growth in Toric IOL’s was immediate and spectacular.

Today, VisTor and PerfecTor, represents more than 20% of our sales, which is very much higher than the national average and ahead of our direct competitors.

Of course, we also introduced the FullRange Easy to our market where the competition is even fiercer than for Toric market, especially since the advent of trifocals.

Better Results

The arrival of the PerfecTor MF Easy, with the same strategy of “Always Address Astigmatism”, will allow surgeons to provide their patients with a better treatment.

When the surgeon advises a patient to put in a Toric lens which is more expensive, it puts more pressure on the surgeon to deliver a better result of the patient.

PerfecTor MF Easy is capable of delivery of such outcome and reassure the surgeon about his post-op result, together with alleviating some of the financial penalty for the low astigmatism patient .
